- 65% of the new jobs will replace retiring workers in the province, as 9 million employees are most likely to retire by 2033.
- 35% of the jobs will contribute towards expanding the provincial workforce, while 3.1 million people will add to the workforce of British Columbia by 2033.
- 46% of the new jobs will be given to immigrants, with around 470,000 new immigrants set to arrive over the next ten years
- 75% of the jobs will need Post-secondary training or education.

New Initiatives Taken by British Columbia
British Columbia is taking new initiatives to promote the skills and training levels required for high-demand occupations.
Some of the new programs announced by the Canadian province are as follows:
- Provide funding for 602 new nursing seats at universities and colleges and add the availability of 2000 additional nursing seats to the province.
- Setting up a medical school at Simon Fraser University.
- Adding 40 latest undergraduate medical education seats with 112 new residency seats at the University of British Columbia’s faculty of medicine.
- Facilitating over 1700 new Early Childhood Educators (ECE) while offering 6,500 rewards to ECE students.
- Adding 6,000 latest Tech-relevant spaces
- Offering $271.3 Million towards the Community College’s new Centre of Vancouver, which will yearly accommodate around 1400 students in new programs.
