The Job Vacancy and Wage Survey (JVWS) provides complete data about the job vacancies and salaries offered by the occupations and sectors in Canada. The job vacancies and wage data are generally released every quarter.
- The sector-wise estimation is based on the North American Industry Classification System (2017)
- The Geographical-wise estimation is based on the Standard Geographical Classification (2016)
- The occupation-wise estimation is based on the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2016.

The Canadian hourly wages increased by 5.8% in the third quarter of 2023. As per the Labour Force Survey, the hourly wages rose by 5.0% for all employees working in Canada.
