Results of the Poll
Nanos Research is a North American organization that conducts research and strategy for advocacy associations, government agencies and corporations. The organization recently conducted a study highlighting Canadian locals' views on Temporary Foreign Workers.
Around 56% of the participants who were 55+ years of age agreed upon the importance of TFWs in Canada compared to 38% of the young crowd.

The Nanos Research Survey
The survey was centred around the importance of Temporary Foreign Workers in Canada, all while emphasizing factors like:
- The contribution of TFWs to Canada's economy
- The support employers get to fill job positions
- Allowing the workers to acquire Canada PR upon fulfilling the eligibility
- Allowing the workers to switch jobs and employers
The survey was held via an RDD manner wherein both online survey and hybrid telephonic modes were used as mediums for the poll.
Around 1,006 Canadians aged 18 and above were selected to participate in the draw. Live agents conducted random recruitment via telephone and live agents.

Findings of the Nanos Research Survey
The poll results were gauged by gender and age by using the latest Census information and geographically segregated by the different areas in Canada. The survey had a margin of error of ± 3.1 points with 19 times of 20.
The Globe and Mail commissioned the research and concluded the below findings:
Around 8 out of 10 Canadian residents are in favour of employers bringing in temporary foreign workers, with 49% extending full support and 30% who are somewhat in favour.
