How do companies select employer-specific work permits under the Innovation Stream?
IRCC introduced a new work pathway under the Innovation stream earlier this month. The Innovation stream issues LMIA-exempt work permits to employers enrolled in the Global Hypergrowth Project (GHP). The Canadian government announced that the GHP would facilitate the growth of innovative companies in the country. The eight companies listed above are local businesses the government recognizes as leading innovators and leaders.
