UAE’s New Work Bundle Platform
The new Work Bundle platform in UAE is set to reduce the processing times for Dubai and residence visas. Initially rolled out in Dubai, the new platform will soon expand to other Emirates.
According to the Gulf News, major changes have been implemented under the new Work Bundle platform to improve customer experience.

Services under the Work Bundle Platform
UAE Government’s new Work Bundle platform aims to “facilitate, simplify and shorten the procedures for residency and work (permits) in the country”, said Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE.
The services given below are integrated under the new Work Bundle platform:
- Providing a unified platform for employment services
- Dealing with renewal, cancellation, medical examinations and fingerprinting
- Yielding substantial savings for both Governmental and private sectors
- Uniting all procedures for government entities such as the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Custom and Ports Security, Ministry of Human Resources, and Emiratisation.
The project is reportedly expected to bring down 25 million annual procedures and reclaim 62 million working days previously devoted towards employment contracts and residency renewals within the frameworks of the Government.
