New Zealand introduces new changes for PSWV

New Zealand introduced new changes to enhance opportunities for international students to apply for Post-study work visas. The New Zealand government plans to provide students who have pursued 30-week postgraduate diplomas and immediately shifted to a Master's degree with a Post-study work visa based on their PGDip enrolment.

This policy provides a more significant opportunity, allowing students to complete a combination of Post-graduation courses and still qualify for work opportunities. Previously, students who changed to a Master's Degree without completing 30 weeks of a postgraduate diploma were ineligible for the Post-study work visa.

The New Zealand government has provided much-needed clarity and flexibility about the new changes to the Post-study work visa, creating a supportive environment for International students and ensuring they have all the facilities they need.

New Zealand recognizes qualifications like the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Level 6). It expands eligibility for teaching roles, ensuring the education process is at ease and fulfilling the workforce demand that will help boost employment for international graduates.

New Zealand is a top choice for International students because of its affordability and global career aspect. The total cost of studying PhD in the country is around $7,000–$8,500 annually, whereas the total cost of residing there is $18,000–$27,000 per year.
