Record-breaking Travel Bookings for Portugal
The New Year travel booking numbers for Portugal are exceedingly growing, with more on the count. Pedro Costa Ferriera, in a meeting, said that the country will likely receive more travel applications for New Year 2024.
As per the National Institute of Statistics (INE) Stats, released on October 27, 2023, citizens of Portugal took around 5.7 million trips in the second half of 2023, which was 6.15% more than in 2022. Domestic trips contributed to 85.6% of the total trips taken.
