On September 2, 2021, Saskatchewan issued 41 invitations to foreign investors willing to invest in business in the province. The immigration candidates were issued invitations in a SINP Entrepreneur stream draw.

About SINP Entrepreneur Stream
Saskatchewan assigns priority to 3 selection factors to different candidates with the same score on the Entrepreneur Stream points grid. These 3 factors are as follows (in the order of priority):
- Ability in Canada’s official language
- People with businesses planned to function for a key economic sector
- The completion of an exploratory visit
The SINP Entrepreneur stream is a 3-stage process. The stages are:
- Creating an EOI
- Receiving an ITA
- Getting nomination
The minimum entry requirements that EOI has to meet for this stream are:
- The applicant’s net worth must be at least $500,000 which must be legally acquired.
- The applicant must have relevant experience of at least 3 years in entrepreneurship or management of an enterprise.
- The applicant must invest at least $300,000 in Saskatoon or Regina, or invest $200,000 in any other area of Saskatchewan.
Candidates who submit their EOIs will become part of a pool. There they will receive a score. Those who score the highest will receive invitations to submit an application.
The application must include:
- A Business Establishment Plan that confirms the figures given in the EOI, and which includes a minimum of one-third ownership of a company in Saskatchewan, unless the investment done is at least $1 million
- A commitment to actively participate in the daily management of the business
- Creation of 2 or more jobs for the permanent residents or citizens of Canada in case the business is situated in Saskatoon or Regina
