Ontario's PNP chooses people who fit the province's job needs and meet specific criteria. To start, applicants send in an Expression of Interest (EOI) to Ontario’s immigration system. They get ranked based on things like age, education, work experience, and whether they have a job offer. The best candidates are invited to apply for a nomination. If chosen, they receive a provincial nomination, which helps them get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency through the federal Express Entry system.
