Initially, most Italy work visas are issued to the primary applicant only. However, once you have a valid residence permit in Italy, you may apply for family reunification (dependent visa).

What you need:

  • Valid long-stay work visa and residence permit
  • Proof of income and accommodation in Italy
  • Relationship documents (translated)
  • Application through local immigration office (Sportello Unico)

Processing for family visas can take 2–3 months.
