The Portugal Jobseeker Visa is initially valid for 120 days (about 4 months) from your date of entry. If you have not yet secured employment, you may apply for a one-time 60-day extension, giving you a total possible stay of up to 180 days. During this period, you are expected to actively search for work in Portugal, attend interviews, and secure a job offer that meets legal requirements. Once you have a valid employment contract, you can apply to change your visa status to a work-based residence permit or an EU Blue Card.
