There is no strict upper age limit for Express Entry applications, but age plays a significant role in the Comprehensive Ranking System. Candidates between 20 and 29 years of age receive the maximum CRS points for age. Points gradually decrease after age 30 and drop sharply after 45, where no points are awarded. However, older applicants can still qualify by compensating with strong credentials in other areas such as advanced education, extensive work experience, strong language test results, or by obtaining a provincial nomination. Therefore, while age influences CRS scores, it is not an automatic barrier.
