Eligibility for the Express Entry
The eligibility criteria for the Express Entry program are given below:
- Age: 18-35 years of age
(Anybody over 35 years of age will receive lesser points)
- Education: Minimum educational qualification equal to the higher secondary level of education in Canada.
(Anybody with a higher education level can receive more points)
- Work Experience: At least 12 months of prior work experience.
(Anybody with more years of work experience can receive more points)
- Language proficiency: At least six IELTS bands equal to CLB 7.
(Anybody with higher band scores can receive more points)
- Adaptability: 10 points are given to candidates with family members or close relatives living in Canada.
(Additional points are given if your legal partner or spouse is willing to migrate with you)
- Arranged employment: 10 points are given to candidates with a Canadian job contract.
