What is IEC Canada?
The International Experience Program of Canada (IEC) is a government-run set of programs that allows young people from eligible countries to travel and work in Canada.
Candidates who have cleared any of the IEC programs qualify to apply for a Canada work permit without the requirement of an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).
Individuals with an IEC are authorized to live and work in Canada for a maximum period of 12 months.
