Job satisfaction levels in capital and non-capital cities!
Large capital cities offer employees higher job satisfaction levels, better payment conditions, and increased employment opportunities. In a survey conducted on people with a job, around 74% of employees expressed a positive opinion about their job.
However, the 2023 Report on the Quality of Life in European Cities stated a negligible difference in job satisfaction levels within a country. Both capital and non-capital cities showed minor differences in job satisfaction levels compared to Italy and Turkey.
The growth of urban job markets has helped individuals find jobs they would genuinely enjoy, which has, in turn, contributed to higher job satisfaction levels.
The urban job market aims to highlight the differences between cities, leading to higher job satisfaction levels in urban areas rather than rural ones. However, the average change from 2019 to 2023 differs by only one percent.
